We all know that Girlscript is a non-profit organization that encourages diversity in technical education. It is a section-8 company registered under Government of India established on second of June 2017.

GirlScript India Summit 2021 is a celebration of Women, Knowledge, Technology, and Innovation with 70+ Companies/Communities and Start-ups.

We are back!!! Yes!! you got it right. We are back with most awaiting hackathon #HACK4WOMEN, an open themed hackathon, presented by GIRLSCRIPT INDIA SUMMIT 2021 on 17th December, 2021.

A hackathon, also known as a codefest, is a social coding event that brings computer programmers and other interested people together to improve upon or build a new software program. It is an event, usually hosted by a tech company or organization, where programmers get together for a short period of time to collaborate on a project.

Hack4Women is an open themed hackathon where you can explore wide vision of your ideas and can Interact with people to strengthen your network.

So, tighten your seatbelts and we’ll take you all on a roller coaster ride filled with fun, knowledge, and much more.

The problem statement is given in every hackathon. But we have allowed you to choose your problem statement and not bound your creativity in a specific domain. We all know there are so many problems faced by women all around the world, and this has to be solved. There are so many examples of it so for the hack4women hackathon, the problem statement must be based on women’s problems and solutions will be based on that particular problem.

NOTE: FOR HACK4WOMEN HACKATHON, IT IS COMPULSORY THAT YOUR PROBLEM STATEMENT MUST BE BASED ON WOMEN’S PROBLEMS.

  How well does the project relate to the topic that is solving problems faced by women
• Impact and Usefullness
  How product specific is the project and the social impact it has. Is the solution really feasible to implement on a large scale?
• Video presentation
  How well the idea is demonstrated in the video
• Originality
  Is the idea original and innovative?
• Visual Design
  Is there a consistent and cohesive visual language throughout the design? Does the design reflect the personas of the target audience?
• Technology
  Technical quality of the execution of the idea. How technically impressive is the solution?
